Uitkerkse POLDERS
The Uitkerkse Polder reserve was established in 1991 and has an area of 1400 ha of which 275 ha has been purchased. In this area a grassland reserve has been developed with special attention for grassland birds and wet salt grass plains.
Ideal for bird watching in summer and winter.

DUINBOSSEN
157 hectares of unique dune forests are joined by De Haan and Wenduine.
It is the ideal place to explore either by bike, by horse or on foot.

ROUTES TO HORSE
In Wenduine you can explore the region extensively on horseback. PS Orion offers you as an extra service the possibility to store your own horses. All facilities are available for this.
You can then choose a mapped route or simply relax through a ride on the beach.

The Dune Forests Trail runs in De Haan. This is 13 kilometers long and explores the area between Wenduine and Vosseslag with
De Haan as the center point. The route traverses hectares of wooded dunes and follows a piece of pristine beach.
